I guess this is the beginning of the “lyrical pounding” Alfamega was referring to in his letter to Tip.

A letter that Atlanta rapper Alfamega supposedly wrote to his former boss, T.I., has been floating around the internet (I saw it on StraightFromTheA.com first, so I have to give props). As you know, (or don’t know), Alfamega was a member of T.I.’s Grand Hustle label, but he was exiled earlier this year after the Smoking Gun revealed he was a government informant (or as we say in the hood “a snitch”).

Earlier this week, a video was released via GyantUnplugged.com, where Alfa denies the snitching accusations, so right now its kinda hard to make sense of all this. But one thing is for certain, I’m not sure how comfortable I am with Alfamega following me on Twitter (@iamalfamega), which he just did earlier today…but that’s neither here nor there.

I could try to explain his letter to Tip, but you should just read it yourself. Since he took the time to write a 2-page letter, it’s obvious Alfamega feels some kind of way about the way things played out between himself, T.I. and Grand Hustle, especially after he knocked that dude out in the name of Grand Hustle at the Dirty Awards last year. And if you take it a step further and visit his myspace page, the song that plays will further lead you to conclude this must be a rough time in this man’s life: Myspace.com/alfamega (I’m just sayin’).

As ya’ll know, T.I. is headed to jail for the next 2 months (or is it 10 months?), but before he goes, the King of the South is shooting two videos, one for “Hell Of A Life” and the other “Don’t Forget” featuring Mary J. Blige. Both tracks will appear on the re-release of Paper Trail. The homie Thaddeus McAdams was on the scene for the “Hell Of A Life” shoot, and he has a gang of pics on his site here. I uploaded the song below if you all want to hear it. The Evil Empire tagged it up, but it’s somewhat listenable.

T.I. had a “catch-you-when-I-get-back-from-jail” party (if you will), in Miami over the weekend. Gyant was on the scene, and he scored this video footage for you internet lovers. Julia was there too, so she’ll probably have some pics for the OZONE gallery a little later.

The Associated Press is reporting that T.I. is only serving two months of his year-and-one-day sentence.

“Harris will be credited for 305 days of home detention he already has served after being charged, so his stay at the Forrest City prison likely will be only two months.”

Wonder if Team Harris has known this the whole time? If so, the Paper Trail re-release should be bumped down to being called Cliff Notes.

“Gon’ be gone for ’bout a year, so ‘Paper Trail’ you gotta hear.”

The Kaing had ya’ll fooled. Congrats on having a tough team of attorneys homie.

I guess this is Tip’s way of saying don’t forget about him while he’s serving a year behind bars.
