Snatch Worthy: T-Pain’s BIG ASS CHAIN

By Maurice Garland • Jun 8th, 2009 • Category: Snatch Worthy

Disclaimer: Ozone is not telling anyone to go out and actually try to start a career as a chain snatcher, its all jokes. And even if you do decide to pick up chain snatching as a side hustle, don’t tell the police you got the idea from us. That’s all you potna.

Big.Ass.Chain.

This is easily the biggest jewelry draw since Lil Jon spelled out “Crunk Ain’t Dead” for everyone that dug its grave.

While it obviously looks heavy and studded, let’s not get it twisted, this easily one of the ugliest, tackiest chains you’re ever going to lay eyes on. But we all know that ugly and tacky is in style, so if you were able to snatch this off of Teddy Pinned-Her-Ass-Down neck you might be able to sell this to someone who is in fact looking for, a big ass chain.

We suggest that you come with a bookbag. Stuffing this thing in your pocket as you flee the scene is not an option. Although the upside to this is that you can swing this big ass chain around like a ball-and-chain if security tries getting it back from you.

The degree of difficulty of snatching this chain is relatively low since T-Pain is not a big guy and that he’s no stranger to being relieved of his jewels. But, if you’re going to snatch, we suggest you snatch soon. With Jay-Z writing eulogies for autotune, there’s no telling how long T-Pain’s popularity and relevance will last from this day on.

Jay-Z – “D.O.A. (Death Of Autotune)”

By Randy Roper • Jun 8th, 2009 • Category: Audio, Randy's Playlist, Videos

jay-z-tpain

Over the weekend, Jay-Z shut the internet down when the first single from his upcoming album Blueprint 3 leaked to the web. “D.O.A. (Death of Autotune)” is just what it sounds like, a R.I.P. song for the “T-Pain effect” that’s been plaguing Hip Hop for about a year now.

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Hate it or love it, this song has the internet going stoopid. And to add to Jigga-mania, Hot 97’s Summer Jam took place in New York yesterday, where Hov performed “D.O.A.” along side T-Pain. Video of that is below:

Well, autotune did just about kill itself off, but it’s good to see someone finally put the nail in its coffin. T-Pain’s still good to use it, though, maybe Kanye, too. Weezy, I’m not too sure, but I guess so. Anyone else, just stop it. Oh, yeah, Jigga’s next single is with Drake. Go ahead, hate on that, too.
