FEEDBACK
I love OZONE Mag. I think it’s one of the hottest magazines that doesn’t talk
about the same artists over and over again. – Sheila, toyew2002@yahoo.com
I got a copy of your magazine when I was out in New Orleans. It was the first
time I’ve heard about OZONE because I’m based in L.A. Anyway, I’ve been reading
your editorial, JB’s 2 Cents, and I just wanted to say, keep doing your thing.
Your editorial is entertaining. Keep it up guys! – Jay, jayo@ballerstatus.net
OZONE Magazine attacks and slanders local artists. I read an article in OZONE
Magazine about rumors of me on AOL Instant Messenger. These allegations are very
inaccurate. I never had a conversation with any magazine, nor have I ever
misrepresented myself by pretending to be a kid that will kill himself or a
program director of any radio station. However, the DJ who is supporting these
allegations has some kind of personal vendetta. It is our understanding that he
spoke against the Lil’ Jon sample in the song entitled, “OK,” and yet he put
another group’s song on his mix CD that featured Tupac’s acapella vocals. The
song “OK,” did include a Lil’ Jon sample, but it was only for demo purposes for
Lil’ Jon to actually get on the song. Unfortunately, it was not delivered to Lil’
Jon in time before it was leaked out on the streets and turned out to be the
talk of the music industry and an underground hit. We at Dreamer Vision Records
are open with our offices and our recording facility. Our computers are open to
many producers, so we have no idea who the DJ in question was talking to. But,
we will investigate this matter further. The Source attacking Eminem – what
next? – PlatinumBoyFCJ, Jennifer@platinumboyfcj.com
I want to work with y’all just to help get your mag out into other places that
don’t really know about OZONE. I don’t want any money or anything like that, I
just wanna see someone who works as hard as you on top like they’re supposed to
be. Not kissing ass, but your mag is better than XXL, and I love The Source to
death but even they can’t touch what you’ve created. I’ve only met you once but
you left me with a good impression that will be with me for a long time, and
once the rest of the world gets a look at your mag I’m sure they’ll be as hooked
as I am. Your mag is the shit. – Slick da Pimp, strawberrie502@aol.com
I really want to thank you for printing my shots [in the business profile on
Block Wear’s CEO Stax]. I don’t think I’ve ever seen colors of my pics printed
like that. Stax is also very impressed and you can see him these days walking
around with the OZONE Mag in his hands everywhere he goes. I also must say that
you did your job promoting in Jackson, MS, because recently everytime I show up
somewhere with a camera I get asked if I work for OZONE, or where they can get
one, because they want it. Good job! – Jaro Vacek, rentonx@aol.com
