T.I. and Shawty Lo Make Bankhead Proud

No, T.I. is not in jail yet. He was scheduled to be sentenced in March, but at the sentencing was granted 2 more months of freedom. Matter of fact, I ran into him pulling up to Chantrelle’s on a sport bike on Friday around lunchtime. Today he came through the “Swagger Like Us” concert at Phillips Arena to support Jeezy. The Arena was only half full (how many folks in Atlanta will pay $40-$200 to see Jeezy & Ludacris, who they can see on any given day of the week?) and the crowd was sort of lackluster (compared to, say, Birthday Bash) throughout the Shawty Lo, Rick Ross, & Ludacris performances. Plies cancelled his performance, leaving only the headliner Jeezy to shut it down. And he did, bringing out T.I. and Ludacris on stage at the same time as well as Lil Scrappy for “Bang.”

Other guests included Tank, Yung Joc, Jarvis, Bobby V (who performed “Pimpin All Over The World” w Ludacris) and the entire DTP Fam (Playaz Circle, Shawnna, Willy Northpole, Small World, I-20, etc). Monica was in the front row and of course Jeezy came through 50-deep with lots of CTE black tees.
