Hood Deeds: Teen DJ Workshop at YMCA, Atlanta GA

Last Thursday’s Teen DJ Workshop kicked off with V103’s Greg Street and DJ Jelly along with DJ Scream, DJ Hotsauce and “Music Motivation” with Jawar, as well as, indie artist, GMack who co-sponsored the workshop. Other DJs that participated in the workshop included Greenhitz.com Founder, Rob Green, RocHarder DJ Nez, among others. Teen participants learned about the true business behind being a DJ as well as gained a historical perspective on the evolution of urban music – a component many DJs feel is is sorely missing in today’s next generation of music. The Get Away Boyz also made a surprise appearance to talk about breaking a hit record and the importance of staying in school. More pics when we continue
